Quick Answer: The Aurzen EAZZE D1R Cube is the best Roku projector for most people in 2026: Roku TV built in, native 1080p, the highest brightness rating of any Roku TV projector (330 ANSI lumens per Aurzen) and a 1,500:1 contrast rating, for $249.99 list or about $175 with the 30% code Aurzen’s store auto-applied on November 6, 2026. Get the EAZZE D1R (about $140 with its code) to save money, the D1R air if you want to run it from a USB-C power bank, and the 720p EAZZE E1R (about $91) only for a small bedroom screen. If you want a bright or 4K picture, buy a brighter projector and add a $29.99 to $39.99 Roku stick instead.

New guide, November 2026. Specs and prices come from Aurzen’s US online store and spec sheets on November 6, 2026, Roku’s and Aurzen’s launch announcements, and published reviews from Expert Reviews, Lon.TV, Android Authority, CGM and AndroidGuys. We did not test these projectors ourselves; where a figure was measured by a reviewer, we name who measured it.

A Roku projector is a projector that boots straight into Roku TV, the same software that runs on Roku-branded TVs, with a Roku remote in the box. There’s no stick to plug in and no input to switch to. Roku announced the first one, made by Aurzen, on September 16, 2025, and Aurzen has added three more since. On November 6, 2026, every Roku TV projector we could find for sale in the US was an Aurzen; Roku’s other projector partner, Sharp, sells its model in the UK only. That leaves four models, and they differ in brightness, resolution, stand and power more than in software.

1. Aurzen EAZZE D1R Cube — Best Roku Projector Overall

Aurzen EAZZE D1R Cube Roku TV Smart Projector

Best overall ¡ $249.99 list on aurzen.com; auto-applied code ROKUTV30 (30% off) brought it to about $175 on Nov 6, 2026; $269.99 with carrying bag
  • Native 1920 x 1080 LCD with LED light source and a sealed optical engine; 330 ANSI lumens and 1,500:1 contrast, per Aurzen, which says the brightness is SGS-certified to ANSI/ISO 21118.
  • 1.23:1 throw ratio, 40 to 150-inch image, auto focus and auto keystone; front, rear and ceiling projection.
  • Two 5W Dolby Audio speakers, fan rated at 35 dB or less at 1 meter, dual-band Wi-Fi, two-way Bluetooth, AirPlay; one HDMI, one USB, 3.5mm audio out.
  • 7 x 7.4 x 7.8 inches, 4 lb; 1 GB RAM and 4 GB storage; 1-year warranty plus 1 year when you register.

The D1R Cube was the first projector with Roku TV built in, and it’s still the best-specified of the four. It has the highest brightness rating, the best contrast rating and the quietest fan rating, and its cube shape hides a sealed optical engine, which helps keep dust off the panel, a common cause of dark spots on cheap LCD projectors. Lon Seidman of Lon.TV found that Netflix plays at full 1080p, that it accepts a 4K signal over HDMI and downscales it, and that AirPlay and Miracast casting worked smoothly. He also found two limits worth knowing before you buy: there’s no HDR (none of the four Roku TV projectors lists HDR on its spec sheet), and input lag over HDMI was around a quarter of a second, so it’s for streaming, not gaming. With the store code, the Cube cost about $35 more than the D1R on November 6, 2026, which is a fair price for 50 more ANSI lumens, the better contrast rating and a shorter throw. Our best projector under $300 guide compares it with Google TV projectors at the same price.

2. Aurzen EAZZE D1R — Best Value Roku Projector

Aurzen EAZZE D1R Roku TV Smart Projector

Best value ¡ $199.99 list on aurzen.com; auto-applied code EAZZED1R30 (30% off) brought it to about $140 on Nov 6, 2026; $239.98 with carrying bag
  • Native 1080p LCD, LED light source, 280 ANSI lumens and 1,000:1 contrast, per Aurzen.
  • 1.28:1 throw ratio, auto focus and auto keystone; Aurzen lists a 60 to 200-inch image size.
  • Two 5W Dolby Audio speakers, fan rated at 40 dB or less; HDMI 1.4, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio out, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, AirPlay, works with Alexa, Siri and Google Home.
  • 9.1 x 7.5 x 3.2 inches, 3.1 lb; 1-year warranty plus 1 year when you register.

The D1R is the flat-box version of the Cube with slightly lower specs and a lower price. Expert Reviews gave it a Best Buy award in the UK and measured its fan at 44 dBA from 1 meter, louder than Aurzen’s 40 dB rating but, in the reviewer’s words, quiet enough to sit right next to. Android Authority’s reviewer found the image “surprisingly good” for the price once the lights go down, autofocus reliable and auto keystone “not perfect,” and noted that the fan was noticeable in quiet scenes. The biggest practical difference from the Cube is the stand: the D1R has a single screw-out foot, no tilt, so you need a shelf, a stand or a ceiling mount to aim it high on a wall. Aurzen’s 60 to 200-inch range is optimistic, too. Its own spec sheet lists a maximum projection distance of 3.3 meters, which at a 1.28:1 throw ratio gives an image of about 116 inches, and Aurzen recommends 80 inches as the ideal size, per Expert Reviews.

3. Aurzen EAZZE D1R air — Best Portable Roku Projector

Aurzen EAZZE D1R air Portable Roku TV Smart Projector

Best portable ¡ $239.99 list on aurzen.com; auto-applied code D1ROKUTV30 (30% off) brought it to about $168 on Nov 6, 2026
  • Native 1080p LCD, 300 ANSI lumens (SGS-certified per Aurzen), 1,000:1 contrast; 40 to 150 inches from 3.63 to 13.62 feet, with up to 80 inches recommended.
  • Runs from AC or from a 65W-or-higher USB-C PD 3.0 power bank with 20V output; rated power 94W.
  • Built-in 180-degree stand, time-of-flight auto focus and auto keystone; two 5W Dolby Audio speakers in the base.
  • HDMI, USB, USB-C and 3.5mm out, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, AirPlay; 1-year warranty plus 1 year when you register.

Aurzen calls the D1R air the first portable Roku TV projector, and the USB-C input is why. With a 65W-plus power bank you can run it in a backyard or a tent with no outlet, which none of the other Roku TV projectors can do. CGM’s reviewer liked the 180-degree stand most, writing that it was the first projector they’d used with true 180-degree adjustment, and found the time-of-flight focus fast enough to keep up as you swing it from wall to ceiling. The trade-offs: the two 5W speakers lack bass (CGM suggests a Bluetooth speaker), there are no buttons on the unit, so keep the remote or set up the Roku mobile app, and 300 lumens is a night-time number outdoors. Aurzen doesn’t say how long a given power bank runs it, so check your bank’s watt-hour rating against the projector’s 94W rated power before a movie night away from power. 4. Aurzen EAZZE E1R — Cheapest Roku Projector

Aurzen EAZZE E1R Roku TV Smart Portable Mini Projector

Cheapest ¡ $139.99 list on aurzen.com; auto-applied code E1R35 (35% off) brought it to about $91 on Nov 6, 2026
  • Native 1280 x 720, accepts 1080p content; 160 lumens rated brightness, per Aurzen's E1R announcement (not an ANSI figure).
  • 1.12:1 throw ratio, 20 to 120-inch image, auto vertical keystone, manual focus wheel on top.
  • 3W speaker in an 80 to 100cc sound chamber in the base; two-way Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, AirPlay; HDMI and USB.
  • Under 1 lb with a carry strap and a 180-degree rotating stand; DC power adapter, no battery; 1-year warranty.

The E1R, announced at IFA on September 1, 2026, is the smallest and cheapest way to get Roku TV on a wall or ceiling. The rotating stand makes it easy to project onto a bedroom ceiling from a nightstand, and AndroidGuys found the sound base louder and fuller than typical mini projectors. Read the spec sheet carefully, though. It’s a 720p projector, and Aurzen’s own launch post rates it at 160 lumens and says it’s best in dark or light-controlled rooms. AndroidGuys’ review lists 300 ANSI lumens, which doesn’t match Aurzen’s figure, so plan on the lower number. It also has no battery and no USB-C power input: it runs from a proprietary DC adapter, which AndroidGuys called the biggest miss. Keep it to a small screen in a dark room. Our best projector for bedroom guide has brighter options if the room isn’t fully dark.

Throw distance: how far back each one goes

All four are standard-throw projectors. Here’s the distance from lens to wall for common screen sizes, worked out from each projector’s throw ratio on Aurzen’s spec sheets (for the D1R air, from Aurzen’s 3.63 to 13.62-foot range, which works out to about 1.25:1).

ProjectorThrow ratio80" image100" image120" image
EAZZE E1R1.12:16.5 ft8.1 ft9.8 ft

EAZZE D1R airAbout 1.25:17.3 ft9.1 ft10.9 ft
EAZZE D1R1.28:17.4 ft9.3 ft11.2 ft

Bigger is dimmer. A 300-lumen projector spreads the same light over 2.25 times the area when you go from 80 to 120 inches, which is why Aurzen recommends 80 inches for the D1R air and the D1R. Use our projector throw distance calculator for other sizes, and our projector lumens guide for how much brightness a given room needs.

Roku TV built in vs. a Roku stick in a projector

The only thing a Roku TV projector has that other projectors don’t is the software. Any projector with an HDMI port can run Roku through a streaming stick, and Roku’s 2025 sticks launched at $29.99 for the HD Streaming Stick and $39.99 for the 4K HDR Streaming Stick Plus. Both draw power from a TV’s USB port; if your projector’s USB port doesn’t supply enough power, use a USB wall adapter.

Buy a Roku TV projector if you want the simplest possible setup for a dark room and you already use Roku. Buy a stick if you want a brighter picture, 4K or HDR, or a projector that’s better for gaming. How to choose a Roku projector

What we left out

The bottom line

The Aurzen EAZZE D1R Cube is the Roku projector to buy: native 1080p, the brightest and highest-contrast Roku TV projector on Aurzen’s spec sheets, and about $175 with the code Aurzen’s store applied on November 6, 2026. The EAZZE D1R is the value pick, the D1R air is the one to take outside on a USB-C power bank, and the 720p EAZZE E1R is for a small, dark bedroom only. All four are dim by projector standards, so if you need daytime brightness, 4K or low input lag, pair a brighter projector with a Roku stick instead.
